VidSys Sees $10 Million Venture Financing

VIENNA, VA -- Video surveillance software maker VidSys Inc. announced that it has raised $10 million in second round venture capital financing.

VidSys develops and sells software used to manage video feeds in surveillance command centers.  The software tracks and identifies potential threats and incidents captured by video cameras.

Investors in the round included strategic investor Motorola Ventures and venture capital firm IDG Ventures Boston, who invested in the first round.  The company plans to use the funding proceeds for continued product development and expanded sales and marketing.
